4H clover

If you are at least 8 years old and no older than 18 years old, you can join a 4-H club. 4-H has at least 125 projects available, from aerospace to zoology. 4-H is more than plows, cows, and cooking!!!

Take a look at us NOW!

HEAD
4-H will get you and your children thinking. You'll learn how to think as team members and team leaders. 4-H'ers learn to think about the world around them, how they fit in now, and how they can fit into the future. You'll find new ways of doing things and different ways of looking at issues facing our youth.

HEART
It can be tough growing up today. To help sort out their thoughts, ideas, and emotions, 4-H members talk with each other and their leaders about what is important to them. They pay attention to ideas and look at different ways of handling problems. They often find that others share the same feelings.

HANDS
4-H'ers do things that are fun and learn skills they can use for the rest of their lives--on the job, at home, or with friends. 4-H leaders work to improve their communities, share their skills and ideas with others, and get hands-on experience for the future by learning new skills andtaking time to explore careers that interest them.

HEALTH
4-H helps boys and girls learn to make healthful choices about exercise, eating, and other parts of their lives so they can become healthy adults. Being healthy means feeling good, balancing school, friends, and family, and helping youth to make the best choices.

Take a look at us now and you'll see more than young people talking about the future--you'll see them becoming the future. 4-H'ers find that learning can be fun! They work with others on projects in a community or project club, in their school, or with another organization.

In addition to completing projects, 4-H members can go to camp, show their work at fairs, travel, host international youth, attend meetings and events at Penn State with other young people, and more!

Financial Support
4-H in Clarion County is a not-for-profit organization. Donations to the program qualify as a charitable donation. charitable support enables us to support lifeskills development for youth and training opportunities for adult 4-H leaders.
